So you just broke up with your girlfriend but you still love her and you want her back. The problem only problem is that your ex girlfriend is now seeing someone else. She is now in a new relationship, what can you do?

Here’s the real deal. Your girlfriend could still be very much in love with you even though she is seeing someone else right now. She could be in a rebound relationship and this dude she’s seeing is the rebound guy. Rebound relationships don’t usually work because it is just something she did to make her forget about you. It’s a filler relationship just to patch the void that she felt when your relationship ended.

Hold on now. Before you go rushing to your phone and call your girlfriend, here me out. You have to do the opposite. You gotta have no contact with her for a few months. let her breathe for a few months. let her decide for herself and think for herself.

This period of no contact counter intuitive but it can benefit you in two ways. One, she will appreciate your maturity in accepting the break up. Two, she will spend more time with the rebound guy and find him flawed compared to you. She will start missing you again. She will start longing for you.

As the cliche of a song goes, breaking up is hard to do. This is just basic truth. A lot of times, breaking up with someone we dearly loved is like the end of the world as we know it. Do you feel like your life ended when the relationship ended? I feel your pain, but this should not be the way you should think. needless to say, life goes on regardless of your relationships. One sure way you can get help is to create your own support network. The best support network for you are your friends and family. Your friends and family will help you get busy to get your mind off the break up. You can share painful experiences with each other. Talking will really ease the burden and pain. Going out with your friends and family is better than wallowing in self-pity and depression. Let your emotions out rather than keep it inside. Keeping it inside will only hurt you in the long run when you blow up.
