On-Line Dating - Will You Find Your Mate?

by Angelina D’Amours

Are you actively looking for a mate? Are you out at the clubs? Are you looking around at your job or at least in the building where you work? Are your friends setting you up with blind dates? Have you tried online dating? It’s one of the fastest and most efficient ways to meet and date today.

It can be fun to meet and date a guy you’ve met out somewhere randomly, based solely on his looks. Unfortunately this could be a waste of your precious time. On-line dating allows you to examine a guys profile and picture and he yours, before initiating a friendship.

The old saying, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince, is no longer true. Why kiss frogs when you can read hundreds of profiles, look at the pictures and in some cases hear the voices, that go with them for a small monthly fee. This saves time, money, heartaches and headaches.

Below are some of the experiences I personally had with on-line dating:

(1) You can target exactly what you are looking for, the age, looks, income, social status, height, weight, talents, hobbies. You can be as specific as you would like in your choices. On-line dating is that secret weapon you have, that is not as much a secret anymore.

6 Tips to Help You Win Your Ex Back

by Erik J. Michaels

When you’ve just had a blowout with your partner and you suddenly find yourself alone and calling him your ex…it’s a rough time where most people just want to find a way to pull the pieces back together and get life back to how it was. Unfortunately, it’s not exactly easy to figure out what to do to make that happen, which is why I’ve written this short list to help you out.

1) I know it seems like the last thing you’d want to do to get him back, but cutting off contact with your ex for about a month is actually surprisingly effective for a number of reasons. No matter what your situation, the separation will make the time you spend actively pursuing him a lot easier, and more likely to succeed.

2) Don’t let Hollywood fool you…sliding into a rock-bottom slump until your caring friends take care of everything for you or your ex calls you up out of the blue to get back together does NOT happen in real life. The only person you can count on is yourself, so find the motivation to rise above your depression and take back your life.

3) Just because you are your only main resource doesn’t mean you can’t have a little support. Being with great friends or close family can do wonders for you, uplifting your spirits and helping you heal. I recommend spending a lot of time with people who love you, it’ll do you a lot of good and when you feel better you’ll be better-equipped to get him back.

How to Deal with Male Competition when Meeting Women-I

by Vin DiCarlo

Have you ever avoided talking to a woman just because she was talking to another guy?

Or maybe you fear of getting embarrass if you approached a group of girls with one or two guys with them because you ASSUMED that those guys were cooler than you.

Most guys shy away from approaching women who are with other guys for a couple reasons.

They assume that the girl is “with” the guy, and assume he’s her boyfriend.

This shouldn’t be the basis of not talking to a woman. Especially in a social setting like in the bar, where people meet other people. Plus - that woman is not a “slave” of the guy or a piece of property, she’s a human being and is free to whomever she chooses to talk to.

Approaching a woman who is “with” a guy often will make you look extremely confident, and draw out his jealous side, making him look insecure and weak.

The other reason guys don’t approach women with other men points to a deep insecurity based on a simple misconception.

Guys assumed that the “other guy” is stronger, cooler, or somehow more powerful than they are. Men tend to be threatened by other men.

This comes from an ancient survival strategy that had been fixed into human brain.

In any given interaction, its often hard to tell who the more “dominant” person is. So when a male is confronted by another male, he doesn’t know how dominant the other guy is. The social hierarchy is very subtle, and mostly unconscious.
